Upneeq Eye Drops
Upneeq is a prescription eye drop used to treat low-lying eyelids (acquired blepharoptosis). It contains the active ingredient oxymetazoline hydrochloride, which works by stimulating the Müller’s muscle in the eyelid to lift it. This provides a temporary, non-surgical solution to open the eyes and make them look more alert.

Upneeq opens eyes by targeting the muscles of the upper eyelid, and causing them to contract. This contraction moves the eyelid upward, opening the eye wider. When more of the iris and white of the eye are visible, eyes often appear bigger, with an improved field of vision.
Calcium chloride, hydrochloric acid (used to adjust pH to 5.8 to 6.8), hypromellose, magnesium chloride, potassium chloride, sodium acetate, sodium chloride, sodium citrate, and water for injection.
